Negotiating Multicultural Identity in Amy Tan’s The Joy Luck Club

Abstract

Amy Tan is Chinese American author who talks about Chinese culture in her novels. The Joy Luck Club is the first novel of Amy Tan to claim fame. The novel talks about the conflict between Chinese mothers and their American born daughters there are more autobiographical elements in the novel. There is a constant clash Between Chinese culture And American modernism.
