Cybercrime: Review of Daily Digest and Awareness Talk in Schools by Teacher Trainees

Abstract
The study was conducted to create awareness of cybercrime among first year teacher trainees of GVM’s Dr. Dada Vaidya college of Education, Ponda Goa followed by awareness in school. As a part of internal assessment for learning resources subject students were instructed to carry out assignment to conduct review on daily digest that are being uploaded on cybercrime portal. Also they were advised to prepare lesson plan on the basis of cybercrime awareness handbook that was available on cybercrime portal. After submitting the given assignment, google form was shared with teacher trainees. Out of 108 teacher trainees, 69 responded on google form. The questions on feedback and opinion were framed in google form to understand their approach toward cybercrime. The study found that such assignment really benefited teacher trainees to understand about cybercrime. Teacher trainees were found positive to conduct such sessions in future when they get the job. This indicates that teacher trainees understood the serious threat of cybercrime, its causes and impact on human being
