Abstract

This study investigates the factors influencing Socio-Economic Status (SES) among the weaker section in Uthamapalyam Block, Theni District, India. This analysis looks at how inclusive growth affects the region's SES by looking at attributes such as age, marital status, education, caste, family structure, income generation, and expenditure. Important studies show that socioeconomic characteristics like caste, family structure, and income generation have a major impact on SES in addition to demographic ones like age and education. The study emphasizes how important it is to deal with structural injustices, give the underprivileged population better access to opportunities and resources, raise their standard of living, and support inclusive growth.
