Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly transforming governance and E-commerce systems by improving decision-making, enhancing administrative efficiency, and enabling data-driven policies and digital operations. Governments and business organizations around the world are adopting AI-based technologies to strengthen transparency, accountability, service delivery, and customer experience in public administration and online commerce. This study examines the role of AI in governance with a focus on how intelligent systems contribute to transparent and accountable government operations and efficient E-commerce management. The study also explores the use of AI-driven decision-making systems and their impact on policy implementation, administrative processes, digital transactions, and business operations. Despite its advantages, the adoption of AI in governance and E-commerce presents several challenges, including algorithmic bias, data privacy concerns, lack of transparency in automated systems, cybersecurity threats, and operational risks. These issues raise important ethical and regulatory questions regarding the responsible use of AI technologies in public administration and digital commerce. Therefore, the study highlights the need for strong governance frameworks, ethical standards, and regulatory mechanisms to ensure fairness, accountability, transparency, and protection of human rights and consumer interests in AI-based systems. The study emphasizes that while AI has the potential to significantly improve governance efficiency, transparency, and digital business performance, careful implementation and effective oversight are essential to minimize risks. Developing responsible AI governance models and strengthening ethical guidelines will help governments and organizations harness the benefits of AI while ensuring trust, inclusiveness, sustainability, and responsible digital governance and E-commerce practices.
