Abstract

This research paper will provide insights into the concept of vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology, which is a method allowing the bi-directional transfer of power between electric vehicles and grid networks. In the context of the widespread use of electric cars today, more efficient ways of managing power supply are needed. V2G technology offers an effective solution through the utilization of electric cars as mobile power sources that could be used when additional energy is required. The review will present important aspects related to vehicle-to-grid technology, such as bidirectional converters and their types, battery management systems, and energy management techniques, as well as specific applications of V2G solutions. Moreover, this research paper will focus on the application advantages of this technology and potential problems that can arise from its implementation. Finally, recent advances in the area will be briefly reviewed.
