Abstract
Biomedical wastes agro wing concern in Kerala, India, as it poses a significant threat to environmental health. This review paper delves in to the various aspects of biomedical waste disposal and its consequences on the environment in Kerala. Through a comprehensive analysis of research studies, policies, and existing practices, we aim to highlight the scale of the problem and suggest potential solutions. This paper focuses on the impact of improper biomedical waste management on air and water quality, soil contamination, and its consequences for human health. Moreover, it examines the legislative framework and current practices in Kerala and provides recommendations for improving biomedical waste disposal to safeguard environmental health.
