Abstract

                Asif Currimbhoy’s position with the New India Confirmation Organization in Paris afforded him the opportunity to explore French culture and lifestyle. He has contrasted the lifestyles of those in Paris with those in India. The milieu of pre-Autonomy, post-Freedom and the partition of India have significantly influenced him. The scholarshave been profoundly disheartened upon discovering that their degrees will not facilitate employment opportunities. Consequently, they have frequently exhibited violent behavior. A substantial amount of information has been utilized in the composition of Currimbhoy’s plays.
